Admissions arrangements
Reading Borough Council co-ordinates admission for entry to primary, junior and secondary schools as required by the School Admissions Code.
The co-ordinated scheme for primary, infant and secondary schools ensures each child receives one offer of a school place. Details of how these admissions will be co-ordinated can be found on the following documents:
2027
These schemes were formally determined at a meeting of the Policy Committee on 14 January 2026.
2026
These schemes were formally determined at a meeting of the Policy Committee on 15 January 2025.
Please note: The published admission numbers (PANs) for some Reading community primary schools have been amended since the admission arrangements were originally determined. These changes have been approved through the statutory process by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator.
