Holiday Activity Fund (HAF)
Brighter Futures for Children is delighted to be co-ordinating the Holiday Activity Fund for 2021, which is funded by the Department of Education, on behalf of Reading Borough Council.
The HAF programme provides activities and lunch for children eligible for pupil premium free school meal children across Reading. The activity clubs offer a range of energetic physical activities, exciting new experiences and delicious meals too!
Watch a video of footballer and campaigner Marcus Rashford spread the word about the benefits of holiday activities and clubs for children.
Over the Easter holidays, more than 250 children attended these holiday clubs, with places funded by the HAF scheme. For the summer holidays, we are hoping to expand the scheme to allow even more eligible children to attend holiday clubs.
We are currently working with holiday activity providers to organise our summer offer and currently have the following providers on the scheme.
Registration will open soon. But if you would like to book onto one of the clubs below, you can do so without your unique HAF code and complete this section at a later date.
