Admissions appeals

If your child is not offered a place at the school you have applied for you have the right to appeal to an independent Admissions Appeal panel.

Reading Borough Council manages the appeals for the majority of schools in Reading.

The Department for Education’s school admission appeals code also stipulates that the panel members who hear these appeals must be volunteers.
