- Reading Family Hubs
In Reading, we are working together to support children, young people and families
Our aim is to make sure everyone gets the right help at the right time, so that children can thrive and reach their potential.
We want this support to be available as close to home as possible. That’s why we have developed Best Start in Life Family Hubs across Reading.
Reading Family Hubs offer information, advice and support for different stages of family life:

- from pregnancy and early years
- through childhood
- and into the teenage years, up to age 19 (or 25 for young adults with special educational needs or disabilities).
Hub co-design
We designed the hubs together with our partners in health, employment, training, housing and the voluntary sector and most importantly, included what children, young people and caregivers tell us they need.
Digital hub
Best Start in Life Family Hubs has a digital offer to compliment the physical family hubs in Reading. This is where you can find out what’s happening in your nearest hub and also check the timetable for each site. You can click on the timetable image to see the full range of activities across all four hubs.

Reading Services Guides
There is also lots of information on local support, services, activities, advice and guidance on the Family Information Service main website, (0-18 and up to 25 for SEND) and the Reading SEND Local Offer (0 to 25 years).
