Residential Child Care Officers x2

This is a great opportunity to join our enthusiastic team at our children’s homes, both of which have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. You will be supporting young people to lead as full a life as possible, helping with everyday activities.

The role requires staff to work on a shift pattern rota, which will include sleep-ins, weekend working and bank holidays/religious celebration days.

You will require a QCF in children and young people's workforce or equivalent qualification, or be able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to achieve this.

Experience in working with young people with disabilities in residential child care or in a similar caring environment is preferred. Ongoing development and training will be provided.

Leaving Care Advisor

Closing date: 7 July 2019

The Leaving Care Advisor role supports care leavers aged 16-25 years in their transition to adulthood.  The busy and varied role includes the completion, monitoring and reviewing pathway plans that provide focused outcomes for young people.

You should have previous experience working with children, young people and their families and ideally have knowledge of child development and parenting practice within a leaving care environment.
