Social Worker - Family Intervention Team

We currently have vacancies for qualified social workers in our family intervention team.

The family interventions team receives the cases from Assess and Assessment Team and holds cases of children on Child in Need, Child Protection and in Public Law Outline process and Children in Care proceedings.

We aim to ensure that our professionals have all the tools they need to do an exceptional job. We have recently introduced Consultant Practitioners into our establishment who are on hand to coach, mentor and support our staff through complex and high risk case work.

We have also secured excellent training for all our staff through Research in Practice, and established a sound partnership with the NSPCC. We value our staff and want to support them in their progression with us.

Assistant Team Manager - Youth Support Service

Closing Date: 1st December 2019

This position is within Early Help in a multi-disciplinary team. This is a great career development opportunity where you will be able to use your management skills to ensure the delivery of a high quality targeted youth support service.

The Assistant Team Manager will report directly to the CAT Team Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Team Manager in the day to day operational running for the Youth Support Workers. You will provide crucial direction and oversight in relation to their caseloads, holding supervisory responsibility for young people supported by the service. ?You will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery of Targeted Youth Groups and Detached Youth Provision, managing the Senior Youth Worker responsible for this area of the service.

You will work as part of the CAT Management Team to review, plan and improve Early Help support, working with colleagues and partners to improve the lived experience of children, young people and their families.

The post is in the Children Action Team (West/North) based in The Avenue Centre.

The children looked after team consists of two teams who deal with all children in care. The team work alongside virtual school, fostering and adoption team.

Social Worker - A&A and CSPOA

Closing Date: 12 December 2019

We currently have vacancies for qualified social workers in our Assess and Assessment, and our Child Single Point of Assess.

Assess and Assessment consists of four teams that deal with all s17 and s47 assessments. The Family Intervention Service picks up cases from our Access and Assessment Teams, long term work is carried out by the Family intervention Team. The Family Intervention Team also carry out work with child in need, child protection and looked after children cases.
