Principal Social Worker

The Principal Social Worker Role reports to the Deputy Director Children Social Care. Employee Relations Advisor

The Employee Relations Advisor will provide first line advice and support to staff and managers on all general HR matters and employment law and policy.

To provide an extensive level of employment law and HR advice to staff and managers on a wide range of HR issues including grievances, disputes, disciplinary hearings as well as advice on employment policy and practice in connection with organisational change, TUPE, and performance

Responsibilities at this level include a lead contribution to research for (and the preparation of) -

  • Data returns for national bodies as well as corporate workforce profiles.
  • The development, delivery and dissemination of employment related management information, and the provision of statistics for internal (senior management groups and Council Committees) and external (including statutory) purposes.
  • The post holder will be expected to lead specific work areas / projects and take responsibility for supporting the leadership of the HR Service.

As a Compliance Manager you will report directly to Executive Director of Finance & Resources   and maintain the company's legal and ethical integrity, ensuring the company's policies and procedures are being followed by all members of staff and that the company's messaging and behaviour reflect the rules and regulations of the company.

The compliance Manager role will:

* To communicate with a range of complex, sensitive information both internally and externally to the organisation
* Undertake complex and detailed information analysis of specific processes, projects/ reports requiring high levels of concentration to support internal and external reporting requirements.
