Delivering Reading’s ‘early intervention strategy’
In September, the Early Help team and over 60 of its partners took part in an Early Help Conference at the Town Hall. Opened by Peter Sloman, Chief Executive of Reading Borough Council, and with presentations by Superintendent Stan Gilmour of Reading Police and Stephen Kitchman, Director of Children’s Services and Antony Kildare MD of Brighter Futures for Children; partners agreed to establish a new and exciting ‘Reading ‘Prevention and Early Intervention Partnership’.
The partnership will support the delivery of Reading’s ‘Early Intervention Strategy’ and help deliver improved outcomes for Children, Young People and Families.
