We have a dynamic social work framework, which is relationship-based and trauma-informed.
It’s leading to better outcomes for children and young people and rewarding work for our staff.
More and more of our social workers are choosing to stay with us. That means something to us – and now it also means something ‘extra’ to them.
As a ‘thank you’, from 1 April 2023, we offer qualified, case-holding social workers in our Together for Families teams a loyalty payment of £3k after 12 months and a further £3k after 24 months.
In addition, this scheme offers newly-recruited QSWs a £5k ‘welcome payment’.
But we know that being a social worker isn’t about the money. It’s about passion, drive, enthusiasm and being supported in a great working environment. That’s what we’re offering too.
Our overarching ambition is to build on our open and supportive culture where we are committed to providing Research in Practice (RIP) membership, effective supervision, achieving safe, manageable caseloads, providing strong, supportive leadership, including listening to all staff and high quality, professional partnerships to support vulnerable children.
